Wavertree is scheduled to return to a berth at South Street Seaport on Sept 24.
According to the South Street Seaport Museum:
“Beginning at 1pm, the Seaport Museum will offer free family activities on Pier 16. Wavertree will arrive to great maritime fanfare in a parade of ships at approximately 5pm.”

Save Our Seaport is sorry to see Peking leave her berth at South Street, but proud of her being saved here in New York till a permanent home could be secured.
