Jane‘s Walk Tour of the Seaport with SOS Saturday

As part of this year’s Jane’s Walks, SOS will be giving a tour of the South Street Seaport Historic District on Saturday, May 6. The New York City Jane’s Walks, coordinated by the Municipal Art Society, continue the legacy of Jane Jacobs, famous for turning back the expressway planned by Robert Moses across Manhattan at Broome Street.

The SOS tour will start at 11:00 AM, rain or shine, at the Titanic Memorial Lighthouse, Fulton and Water Streets. Expect history and politics, architecture and waterfront, conversation and fun. The tour should run to around 12:30.  See you there!
